Winter Camp

By: Explorer, Lane, NM0356

In Troop NM0356, we had an annual Winter Camp.  On a certain Saturday, girls would come to the church where we met for about five hours and do fun activities such as scrapbooking, knitting, and jump roping.  The Tenderhearts would do one thing while the Explorers did something else, and the Pioneers/Patriots would do yet another activity.  Then we would rotate.  We would have lunch there, then sing songs around a pretend campfire and eat miniature s’mores.  Our last activity was building a blanket fort, and we listened to a devotion while inside the fort.  Winter Camp was a lot of fun for me because I got to do fun things with my friends and try new activities.  In the picture, I am the girl with two braids and a headband.
