Sometime during the winter, our Troop gathered together and made scarves for the needy. Two Tenderhearts/Pathfinders buddied up with two Explorers/Pioneers and went to a table together. It felt like I was in charge because there was no one older than I at my table. It was one of the first times I was a leader. Making scarves was really fun and I think the homeless really appreciate what we did.
The latest troop activity that my troop did was visit a nursing home in March. We did a flag ceremony and one girl from each Unit gave a speech about their Unit’s Level Award. I did Lewis and Clark for the Explores. After that, we paired up with one of the manor’s residents and played games with them. Although it was raining, the residents and I were glad that we came.
