This was me when I was in 6th grade,11 years old, before I had my knee surgery. At first I was sad because I had to drop out of softball, but I knew this was part of God’s plan for me. With that in mind I didn’t care about it too much, I knew it would pay out in the end. The story of how I chipped my knee cap is very silly. I was at my best friend’s birthday party, which was held at her church as a lock-inn, and I was dancing in the room and slipped on a toy, my friend started crying and got someone right away. The pastor of the church came in and prayed with me and took me to the hospital then and I found out that all I would need is surgery and some time walking like a penguin. I am in 8th grade right now and am 13 years old and I still do not fully understand how that benefited me yet. I am thankful for having God in my life and for him watching me. Just remember everything you do and everything that happens if for God and is part of his plan for you. Never give up hope during the rough times, and look around you…YOU are part of something big.
